The process of producing Aluminum Foil
1. Melting: First, aluminum is melted in a furnace at a temperature exceeding 1000°C.
2. Rolling: Next, the molten aluminum is passed through a series of rollers to flatten it into strips of the desired thickness. The strips are cooled as they pass through each roller to prevent them from melting or warping.
3. Annealing: After rolling, the aluminum strips are annealed in a furnace to make them more pliable and to remove any stress that may have built up during the rolling process.
4. Slitting: Once the strips have been annealed, they are slit into narrower strips of the desired width.
5. Final Annealing: Finally, the narrower strips are repeatedly annealed to soften them and make them more flexible. This allows them to be wound into rolls without breaking.
